Today, members of the "We Are With You" campaign gathered with Mr. Murad Abdi, the director of Bork Health Center, along with some of its staff members, as well as my team from the Future Youth of Bork and Bork Youth Center. The purpose of the meeting was to formulate a plan and a working mechanism to ensure that the team is prepared to handle any suspected case of COVID-19 by communicating and coordinating with the main team of the "We Are With You" campaign. Furthermore, the Bork team has been equipped with necessary medications, equipment, and medical devices to enable them to treat cases in the coming days, and support will continue, God willing. After the meeting, the team was able to visit a COVID-19 patient who had been infected approximately 20 days ago. After gathering information about the patient, they confirmed that the individual is in good health but requires continued follow-up and taking the necessary medications to complete the treatment course. Today, the formation of a special team for Khanasor has been approved. The team consists of the following: Clarification of the work mechanism. Formation of the subcommittee responsible for delivery, follow-up, and assessment of needs (subject to change), and they have started their work. The important tasks or needs for this committee were: Human resources: Azat Khidida Issa and Kamiran Kamo Alman. Logistics materials such as revenue records and some stationery: Completed but requires future support. Transportation for receiving materials from donors in coordination with the main group "We Are with You." Documenting the needs in detail and sending them to the financial committee in the main group after coordinating with the members of the subgroups (Khanasor). Documenting all donations from organizations with all the details and coordinating with the documentation, archives, coordination, and main follow-up committee (Shukri and Suleiman). A dedicated place for storing the needs: A room has been allocated in Khanasor. Today, a team was formed to follow up and treat patients inside Khanasor. The needs and tasks are as follows: Human resources. Ismail Suleiman, Dr. Safok Ashur, Nurse Zaidan Khalaf, and Medical Assistant Khalil Khadr. Personal protective equipment with accessories: Completed, but we need future support. Forms for patient monitoring, treatment, or referral. Reproduction of the treatment guide (COVID-19 treatment protocol) and working accordingly. Transportation: Vehicles will be in service during this week. Awareness, guidance, and psychological support are important duties for the treating team along with other known duties. The team will have a role in sanitizing and disinfecting the patient's residence after clarifying a specific procedure, which has been approved by everyone. Approval to allocate a mobile phone with special numbers for patient follow-up. The families of patients can contact the team, and the numbers will be shared to reach the largest number of patients for follow-up.
